Baltimore Green Justice Workers Cooperative (BGJWC) is preparing to launch its Offshore Wind Workforce Development Training pilot as part of its Baltimore Green Jobs Academy.
The basic construction and worker safety training that prepares adults aged 25 and older to obtain entry-level positions in the Offshore Wind industry training is open to those aged 25 or older who can pass a drug test; is able to commit to completing a 12-week training; is willing to learn and/or enhance their computer skills; is willing to travel to west Baltimore for training.

DPW Survey - The Office of Equity and Environmental Justice within the Department of Public Works is currently disseminating the Environmental Resource Access Survey; we hope that these questions will serve as a tool to explain what Baltimore residents experience across the city, and demonstrate whether existing resources are accessible and widely known. This will help us establish how to improve access to programs, education, and resources, and shed light on what services are missing. We want to know what is working well for all residents, and how, together, we can make improvements! Please follow the link below to the survey

Affordable Home Internet to Baltimore Households is Here up to a $45 discount each month = FREE INTERNET
WHO IS ELIGIBLE:
if one member of the household meets at least ONE of the criteria below:
Receive SNAP, Medicaid, Federal Public Housing Assistance, SSI, WIC, or Lifeline
Approved to receive free and reduced-price school lunch program or the school breakfast program
HAVE A CHILD ENROLLED IN Baltimore City Public School
Received a Federal Pell Grant during the current award year
